Computer Technology and Videoconferencing Program for children
During July 2006 the One Stop Richmond Hill Community Center launched a special technology and videoconferencing camp for elementary school students. The program included videoconferencing and web site design. Since then the program has expanded to an after school program during the year and to a three week program during the summer of 2007. Students videoconferenced with NASA, Australia's Great Barrier Reef, the Alaska Sea Life Center and Sarasota's Marine Lab (MOTE). The children created web pages about their activities.
