RHBA 51st Annual Fair A Time-Honored Tradition. Reimagined. One Community. Countless Memories Waiting to Be Made.

July 2, 2026

Dear Neighbors,

I’m writing to you today as the Chair of this year’s RHBA 51st Annual Fair, but also as your neighbor.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve had the privilege of walking through Richmond Hill, talking with neighbors throughout our community, including many of our local businesses, meeting longtime residents, and hearing so many wonderful memories of the Fair. Listening to those stories reminded me just how much this tradition has meant to our community for generations.

While I can’t personally visit every neighbor, I hope you’ll accept this letter as my invitation to help reimagine a cherished Richmond Hill tradition.

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, we’ll come together once again for the RHBA 51st Annual Fair, A Time-Honored Tradition. Reimagined.

Our goal is simple: to bring our community together for a fun-filled day where everyone feels welcome.

This Fair belongs to all of us. It’s a place where neighbors come together, families create lasting memories, children discover new experiences, local businesses are celebrated, and every generation has something to enjoy.

Beginning at the Buddy Monument, continuing through beautiful Forest Park, and stretching all along Myrtle Avenue, we’re creating a day with something for everyone. Families will enjoy amusement rides, pony rides, delicious food, local vendors, a full day of live entertainment featuring a variety of performances and opportunities to join in the fun, children’s activities, and demonstrations from our first responders.

We’re also introducing a new Children’s Discovery Village, a dedicated Sensory-Friendly Zone for children with autism and developmental disabilities, health and wellness resources for seniors, and educational programs to help older adults stay informed, protected, and connected.

To help everyone make the most of the day, we’ll also provide an easy-to-follow Fair Map and Schedule of Events so you can discover activities, enjoy the entertainment, and plan your day from beginning to end.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll discover something around every corner, from new experiences and local treasures to familiar faces and lasting memories. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, neighbors, or on your own, there’s something for everyone. We hope you’ll spend the day celebrating everything that makes Richmond Hill such a wonderful place to call home.

The Fair also shines a spotlight on the incredible organizations, local businesses, talented performers, volunteers, first responders, and neighbors who make Richmond Hill such a vibrant community. It is a celebration of everything that makes our neighborhood so special.

Every person working on the Fair is an unpaid volunteer, giving their time because they believe in our community.

Reimagining the Fair also means making important investments today that will benefit our community well into the future. To bring our vision to life this year, we’re purchasing reusable signage, equipment, children’s activities, and other materials that will become part of future Fairs. These investments will help us continue to grow and strengthen this cherished tradition.

Because many of the Fair’s materials, activities, and equipment must be secured well in advance, we’re working to reach our fundraising goal by July 31 so we can confidently move forward with everything we’ve planned.

Every gift is more than a donation. It’s an investment in our community and in the memories we’ll create together.

Whether your gift is $5, $25, $50, $100, or more, every contribution makes a difference. More importantly, no matter the size of your gift, you’ll become part of something bigger by helping preserve a cherished tradition, create lasting memories, and write the next chapter of the RHBA 51st Annual Fair.

If making a financial contribution isn’t possible, you can still make a difference by donating a raffle prize or gift certificate, volunteering your time, or simply sharing our message with friends and neighbors.
